Week 1
Mar 14 UL Vikings @ University College Dublin Belfield, UCD, 1pm

Mar 14 Belfast Trojans @ Carrickfergus Knights Carrickfergus Rugby
Club, Woodburn, 1pm

Mar 14 DCU Saints @ Trinity College Dublin TCD Sports Grounds, 1pm

Sticking with

Viks
Knights
Trinty
Rolling Eyes

Game of the week will be
DCU Saints @ Trinity College Dublin TCD Sports Grounds, 1pm

Would new boys Trinity beating last year playoff team the Saints be considered as a huge upset?

Just saying this would be match of the week cause
Going on past form Viks should take UCD
Knights V Trojans have played loads of time

BUT Trinty are playing the first time in 11's they had the best record in DV8's last year and would of won due to a few silly mistakes of pitch Rolling Eyes .
Just saying this is the match to watch

Are ALSAA very accomodating to the IAFL or has someone got some contacts there? It is a good venue though and it is good for the league to have a familiarity with one good venue that can be relied on for reschedules like this.

Well as you know DCU have played there for a few years, They just take bookings like any other sports facilities. We have used it twice before and Team Ireland have always trained there.

Could not do the profile of the sport any harm at all ,to have 4 teams on display.. Could generate some outside interest for the clubs, as well as increasing the banter factor in the dressing rooms. Laughing Twisted Evil

I really do like ALSA as a venue - just a few minor improvements:

Enforced No Fly Zone!
Luas from Club House to Pitch!

Good facility to have access to.

Forum has been very quiet this week, considering our season starts Sunday. Maybe everyone is just training too hard or scouting game tape to post on here.
